History

The idea of forming "Shadowcry" came up, after Ernst (guitar) and Rebecca (bass) did some musical experiments with friends. ;-)

Yeah, and then.... they started to search for guys who wanted to play the same kind of music. The first new member - Christian - joined the party as drummer in September 2005. After some sessions the three decided to finally form "Shadowcry" in December 2005 - that's where the story began.

After the starting point was set, searching for an appropriate vocalist was one of the hardest parts. It took a few months - really! But.... after Thomas joined as "screaming machine" they all were motivated.

But there was still one part missing. Right - a second guitarist.

Another two months of searching were necessary until Christian made the suggestion to invite his friend Christoph.

....Fixing the line-up was a really stony way.

Since August 2006 "Shadowcry" can be called a "Band".

And now we are here to kick some ass! ;-)
